This program allows you to travel to the USA for up to one year to work in an area related to your career or area of work. Our employers are recognized hotel chains, resorts and luxury restaurants, for students and/or graduates of Hotel Management and Gastronomy careers.
APPROXIMATE GROSS SALARY: US$ 15 PER HOUR. THE FINAL MONTHLY SALARY WILL DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED EACH WEEK (MINIMUM 35 HOURS PER WEEK).

Be over 18 years of age
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS - INTERNSHIP AND TRAINEE
Intermediate level of spoken English
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - INTERNSHIPS
To be a University / college Student* in the last cycles or Graduated with less than one year.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - TRAINEE
Have graduated from a university / college* more than one year ago or have 5 years of experience in the field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - INTERNSHIP
No experience necessary
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - TRAINEE
Have at least one year of experience** in the field of your career or 5 years of experience in the field (if you do not have studies)
* Only those universities and colleges that are accredited in your country of residence and have a minimum of 2 years of duration are eligible to participate in the program.
* Exchange programs in the USA or jobs in the USA are not considered.
WHERE CAN YOU DO THE TRAINING?
We work with luxury hotel and restaurant chains where you can learn new techniques and ways of working that will help you grow professionally. You will find offers available throughout the year.
DURING YOUR PROGRAM YOU CAN PERFORM UP TO 4 DIFFERENT FUNCTION ROTATIONS SO THAT YOU CAN HAVE A COMPLETE TRAINING.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM:

Placement of interns.

Documents required to apply for the J-1 Visa.

Medical Assistance Card against accidents and illnesses.

Initial documentation to apply for the Social Security Card.

Personalized support before departure and throughout the program.

Coordination of the phone/skype interview with the host company.

WHAT THE PROGRAM DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Airline tickets and issuance fees and airport taxes.

J1 Visa processing and issuance procedures and costs at the U.S. consulate.

Program registration fee (USD $250, nonrefundable).

SEVIS fee - USD $220.00 (mandatory U.S. Government monitoring system).

Passport procedures.

Accommodation, meals and transfers.

Other personal expenses.

Refund Policy:

The program fee of $3800 USD is due before the DS 2019 form is issued. If the candidate is unsuccessful in obtaining his/her J1 visa at the embassy, the cancellation fee is $625 USD. All other payments will be refunded or credited to their account.

If the candidate withdraws for reasons other than visa refusal, the cancellation fee is $1125 USD.
